On the twelfth day of Christmas

On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love gave to me...a pair of long icicle earrings. I really wish that a picture could capture the beauty of these earrings but it's impossible!  These earrings are made using Swarovski rain drop beads that are simply amazing. When these beads first arrived we were all salivating over them. Everyone who has seen these in person so far loves them. Small Act of Kindness

Right now my heart aches for this country and the world. It seems like all around us there is nothing but division and hate. Everyone seems to get offended by every little thing you say or do and to be different is no longer a good thing.

One of the blogs I like to read is www.so-many-places.com and Kim had a great idea for a yellow envelope act of kindness. This got my brain wheels to spinning. I wondered what I as a beader could do for random acts of kindness to other people. I go to thinking about my jewelry and what other complement me on most. You know what it is? My earrings. Most of the time the earrings people like most are the simplest to make.

So, here is my plan and here is what I purpose. I am planning on making a few simple pairs of earrings and a print out of the card above. Anytime I'm out about town and see someone who needs a pick me up I'm going to give them a pair of earrings as a gift. I might give some to waitress's, bank tellers, etc. Who knows...I might even leave some in bathrooms or the gym locker room.

Won't you do this with me? Lets make the world a happier place one set of earrings at a time. I would love to hear your stories of who you give them to or places where you leave them. You can comment on this blog post or post it in my private facebook group HERE

I can't wait to hear your stories!

On the fifth day of Christmas....

On the fifth day of Christmas my true love gave to me....a pair of loop earrings. These are the most expensive and most difficult pair of earrings to make in the whole series. These earrings take a little while to make because you have to wire wrap the beads onto their respective loops. These earrings feature red and green swarovski bicones. You can purchase the kits for these earrings at www.offthebeadedpathbeadstore.com

Twelve Days of Christmas - Day 1

On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me a pair of blue icicle earrings!  Today starts our brand new twelve days of Christmas promotion at the shop. From today until November 30th we will be coming out with twelve new Christmas earrings. These are earrings that have never been seen at our shop. To see each days earrings you can check them out here or check out www.offthebeadedpathbeadstore.com

I know some of you are wondering why I've started a new blog after I already had one. Well lets just say it's a little bit of re-branding.  I'm trying to get away from Off the Beaded Path and moving more towards Kelly Dale Creations. I love my store but I'm not sure if I will keep my brick and morter store for too much longer so it's time to start a small transition. I hope you will find lots of daily inspiration at this new blog!
